The NatHERS Benchmark study engaged 344 NatHERS assessors who volunteered to assess one of four randomly-selected house plans in their chosen NatHERS software tool.
The Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) has advised that accreditation of the course in Building Thermal Performance Assessment (Residential) NTIS code 91318NSW, expired on 30 June 2013. The course is no longer nationally accredited or a VET qualification.
The NatHERS Benchmark Study is being undertaken in order to better understand the future training and development needs of NatHERS assessors. As such, all assessors are invited - indeed encouraged - to participate.
The training resources to complement the Certificate IV in NatHERS Assessment have been developed to assist Registered Training Organisations with consistent delivery of the Certificate IV.
The NatHERS logo has been registered as a Trade Mark under the Trade Marks Act 1995. This registration will provide the NatHERS National Administrator with greater powers to address illegal use of the logo.
